Teaching

I taught flute privately in Columbia, MD for 3 years before moving to Cincinnati, and I took pedagogy class at University of Maryland to strengthen my skills. I have a rate of $45 for 45 minute lessons, and $60 for 60 minutes. I consider 45 minutes the minimum ideal for getting the most progress done at all skill levels. I focus on flute fundamentals as well as teaching my students to be critical thinkers. I teach etudes, solos and duets, and coach on large ensemble music. I also teach piccolo and beginner flutists! To schedule lessons and location arrangements, please see the Contact page. If you are interested in shorter or longer lessons, please let me know.

Musicology

I actively study Classical Music as an amateur musicologist. While in school, I wrote many essays and blogs concerning composers of Classical Music around the internet, and continue to do research including work on a short video biography on the life and works of Alexander Glazunov in honor of the 150th Anniversary of his birth in 2015.
