Performance with the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic, featuring Mahler's Symphony No. 5. Participant in the 2019 National Orchestral Institute and Festival.


April 2018
Performance as Second flute with the Canton Symphony Orchestra in their final Masterworks concert of the season, featuring Orff's Carmina Burana.

Spring 2018
Performances with the CCM Wind Orchestra and Chamber Winds in their concert series. Principal flute in the CCM Opera d'arte Series in Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti and Bucci's Tale for a Deaf Ear, and Principal flute with the CCM Philharmonia in their opera production of Puccini's Suor Angelica. October 2017 - January 2018
Performances in 3 trial concerts as Principal flute and 1 trial concert as Second flute with the Canton Symphony Orchestra in Canton, OH

Fall 2017
Performances at the 2017 Midwest Composers Symposium in Ann Arbor, MI.

Performances in the CCM Philharmonia in their concert series, and as Principal flute in their opera production of Bernstein's Candide.

July 2017
Performance on flute and piccolo in the 2017 CCM Opera Bootcamp orchestra in their Mozart Scenes concert and production of Poulenc's Les mamelles de Tirésias.

May 2017

Performance on flute with the Cincinnati Chamber Opera in their production of Cimarosa's Il Matrimonio Segreto.

Spring 2017

Performances in the CCM Concert Orchestra in their concert series. She also performed in her first graduate recital. See video playlist here!

Fall 2016
Performances in the CCM Philharmonia and Chamber Winds ensembles in each of their concert series. Jenny also performed in the Fall Opera Production of Massenet's Cendrillon, including a back-stage solo part.

June 15 - July 1, 2016 Jenny participated in Music House at the Philadelphia International Music Festival at Bryn Mawr College outside Philadelphia, PA. She won Alternate Grand Prize in the PIMF Concerto Competition with the 3rd movement of Jacques Ibert's Flute Concerto.

June 5, 2016 Jenny performed in the McLean Orchestra for their 45th Annual Patrons Gala. They performed Simon Proctor’s James Bond Concerto featuring themes from multiple themes in the long-cherished franchise.

March 19, 2016, Jenny performed at the Celebration of the Art gala at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD as a Finalist in the 2016 Rising Star Emerging Performing Artist Award Competition. She played the Great Train Race by Ian Clarke for an ecstatic audience who had never heard such a flute piece before.

December 2015
Performance at Oakland Mills High School with the String Orchestra as guest artist in their Winter Concert performing Howard Hanson's Serenade. Video here!

November 2015
Performer in the Maryland/DC area as freelancer and participates in various Competitions and Masterclasses, including the 2016 Rising Start Young Artist Competition.

August 2015
Performance in a choral and orchestral concert Ode to Peace, commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the end of WWII outside Washington DC.

July 2015
Jenny Lehtonen has performed all around the United States, including on a recent trip to San Jose, CA with the University of Maryland Wind Orchestra in a concert at the 2015 Convention for the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE).
